I am a pre-doctoral clinical psychology student at Walden University.

I look forward to pursuing my position here as a doctoral extern.

I have been given the opportunity to serve individuals from different cultural backgrounds and beliefs in a variety of clinical settings. I strongly believe in the power of communication and the effectiveness of listening. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, gender, races, and ethnicities. My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, coping strategies, family and couple therapy, as well as life transitions and thriving after trauma.

Although my preferred method of style is CBT, I keep an open mind to different techniques depending on the individual I am helping so I can effectively and efficiently assist them. Some of my interests and hobbies and include, photography, mindfulness meditation, puzzles, traveling, experiencing the new, and spending time with family and friends!

I am bilingual and speak both English and Arabic.

Please feel free to contact me through email at aya.jabra@waldenu.edu with any questions you may have or to schedule a session, I look forward to serving you!
