I am currently a second-year student in Adler University’s Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program.
I aim to practice a variety of research-based therapeutic techniques with adolescents and adults, particularly those dealing with mood, anxiety, and eating disorders as well as PTSD. Past areas of research include the relationship between socioeconomic status and emotional development in children, memory, and work meaningfulness. I also spent two years working as a medical assistant to four different physicians at a private psychiatry practice. In the future, I would like to study the prevalence of eating disorders, particularly Anorexia Nervosa among men.
I strive to foster a client-clinician relationship that promotes non-judging and effective communication in order to make my clients feel safe, understood, and accepted to ultimately maximize treatment outcomes. I pride myself on being an encouraging, empathic individual who sees each client as a unique individual and tailors treatment according to their specific needs.
