I earned my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed my internship at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital.
Throughout my clinical training, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and their families across a variety of settings, including a university-based clinic, a pediatric development center, a therapeutic day school, a mental health hospital, and in-home.
My clinical work focuses on the holistic assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with behavior concerns, attention and executive functioning difficulties, developmental disabilities (including Autism Spectrum Disorders), selective mutism, and general mood concerns. I also enjoy parent training and facilitating group therapy.
I practice from a family systems perspective and am trained in a number of evidence based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Having a strong background in a variety of research-grounded frameworks enables me to approach therapy from a double perspective: I work individually with children in order to help them develop insight, resilience, and improved coping skills; at the same time, I work collaboratively with parents to help them better understand the challenges their child is facing and to help empower them as an agent of change within the family system.
Please feel free to contact me via phone at (708) 406-9641, or email at [email protected] with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
On the days I’m not working, you can find me at working out at OrangeTheory Fitness, training for my next 5k, playing with my cat, or volunteering at my church. My favorite things to do on rainy days are drink tea and listen to podcasts.
