I earned my doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Cleveland State University and am currently pursuing licensure in the state of Illinois.

I utilize an integrative model of care that allows me to tailor my approach to each
individual/family depending on their presenting concerns. I like to do this in collaboration with the individual/family because I want every person to feel empowered in the therapeutic process as they move toward healing, change, and personal growth. When working with children and adolescents, my methods range from talk-therapy to play-therapy as well as including family sessions as needed. I also enjoy utilizing humor, art, mindfulness, and music throughout the process to help make therapy a safe and fun space for kids and caregivers to learn and incorporate coping strategies that will be helpful for the whole family.

I am originally from Sandusky, Ohio where I grew up right down the street from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Yes, I have ridden every roller coaster in the park and I did sing and dance at the Johnny Rockets inside the park every summer throughout high school and college. Since college, I have lived all over the country from St. Louis to Dallas to New York City. Finally, my partner and I have decided to make Chicago our permanent home and are having fun exploring the restaurant scene and taking our dog to new parks to explore.
