I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago – School of Social Work with a specialization in clinical mental health and a sub-specialization in group work. Within my clinical experience I have worked with children and adolescents, adults, and families in a multitude of settings.
My clinical work is informed through an integrative, client-centered approach. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship that prioritizes safety, warmth, and acceptance in session. I am dedicated to working with individuals, families, and groups in a holistic manner, while focusing on clients’ strengths to cope with life-stressors. My areas of interest and specialty include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relational conflict, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. In addition to my clinical experience, I am a registered yoga teacher. I incorporate mindfulness-based interventions in my clinical practice such meditation, movement, and self-regulation techniques.
