I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Midwestern University. During my training, I have worked with clients across the lifespan, with a focus on children and adolescents. I have provided psychotherapy and psychological testing services in an array of settings that include community mental health centers, private practice, and therapeutic day schools. I have been able to work closely with clients to treat a wide variety of concerns ranging from mood and developmental disorders, chronic pain, substance abuse, trauma, hoarding, family stress, academic distress, and academic avoidance.

My goal is to promote a safe and nurturing setting for my clients while fostering a collaborative approach to identify individualized needs to improve their quality of life. I strive to collaborate with my clients to develop a strong therapeutic alliance founded on trust and acceptance. I am passionate about cultivating benevolence and believe in the benefits of a life spent helping others. Additionally, I value the importance of displaying open-mindedness, flexibility, and personal integrity. I utilize a therapy lens that integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral theory (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and client-centered therapy.

I am dedicated to provide a safe environment for clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, those who hold multiple identities and have a diverse cultural background. I strive to support others to examine how these identities may impact the way they interact with the world around them. I acknowledge my own identity and biases to monitor the impact they have on treatment. I seek to recognize these identities and use them to advocate and educate on the pressing topics of sexuality, gender, and racial injustice that are experienced in and outside our communities.
