I earned my masters degree and PsyD from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. I have had the privilege of working in various settings, including intensive inpatient/partial hospitalization care, outpatient clinics in hospital settings, and therapeutic schools for neurodivergent youth. I am particularly passionate about working with autistic children and adolescents, individuals with complex anxiety and OCD, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent youth and children and adolescents who struggle with emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and mood concerns. I seek to make therapy a warm, creative, and brave space where clients and their families can explore emotions, develop resilience and coping skills, and discover their strengths.
I use an integrated approach in therapy because I believe each individual has unique needs, and no single approach best meets their needs. I ground my work in evidence-based intervention and blend elements of cognitive-behavioral, feminist, humanistic, and systems theories in a culturally sensitive manner. I strive to see my client in a holistic manner and understand their connections to their personal identities, background, and story to help them live happy and healthy lives. Every client has their own unique experience, and I strive to step into their world so they feel seen, heard, and understood.
When I am not in therapy, you can find me petting my cat, taking care of many plants, eating ice cream, or reading the latest fantasy or sci-fi bestseller!
