I graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, along with minors in Sociology and Education. I am currently pursuing my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University, with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Recently, I served as a Diagnostic Extern at United Stand Counseling Center, where I executed comprehensive psychological assessment batteries for ethnically and racially diverse populations of children and adolescents. I coordinated multi-disciplinary care between schools and programs while ensuring culturally competent practices. This experience allowed me to foster strong therapeutic alliances within the child’s system, including their school and family lives. Before beginning my doctoral studies, I gained valuable hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I implemented individualized ABA intervention programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Working one-on-one with children, I gained experience that reinforced my understanding of how tailored interventions can create meaningful improvements.
Through my academic and professional experiences, I have developed a particular interest in working with diverse populations and understanding how different factors can influence treatment. I have always been drawn to working with people, particularly children and adolescents, navigating challenging periods in their lives. My passion lies in helping clients develop the tools they need to thrive and watching them grow and overcome obstacles. I believe building relationships is key to establishing meaningful goals together and creating positive change. I am passionate about ensuring that therapy is accessible, culturally responsive, and designed to meet each person where they are in their journey toward healing and growth.
Outside of my professional and academic settings, I really enjoy exploring the city and trying new things. I love listening to music, watching movies, and spending quality time with those I care about.
