"I believe that everyone has a voice and that voice needs to be heard regardless if they are young or older. Their voice is what gives them that self-autonomy perspective."

I earned my Masters of Social Work degree with a specialization in Mental Health from University of Illinois At Chicago. I have worked with individuals from birth to 21 years old, teen moms, families, other individuals to help support them emotionally and help them highlight their needs through strengths-based perspective, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

I believe that everyone has a voice and that voice needs to be heard regardless if they are young or older. Their voice is what gives them that self-autonomy perspective.

My approach to therapy is seeing myself as the learner in the room when I am building that trust with my clients and making sure the space is a safe haven. I tend to use the strengths-based and person-centered approach to how the client is coping, doing, and what supports they have.

During my free time, I am a foodie and love trying new restaurants and dishes. I would consider myself a personal chef. I believe that you connect with people through food and the stories behind food. I love spending time with my family and “breaking bread.”
