I graduated from Tennessee Technological University in the small town of Cookeville, Tennessee with a B.S in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Psychology. I am currently on the journey to receive my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Before coming to ISPP, I worked as a psychiatric technician at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. There, I gained experience working with a variety of different populations ranging from people who struggled with substance abuse, personality disorders, neurocognitive disorders, and more. I worked with all ages, the youngest being 10 and the oldest being 96!

During the past year in my academic setting, I have found that my special interests fall in trauma psychology, specifically working with those who may suffer from generational trauma, and/or any systemic trauma. I feel passionate about bringing accessible mental healthcare to underserved populations. I have also found a profound interest in furthering my knowledge in the treatment of personality disorders and OCD.

I believe psychology extends beyond mental health; it has the potential to be a powerful tool for advocacy, education, and outreach. It can empower those without a voice, provide crucial knowledge to those unaware of its benefits, and serve communities in need in countless ways. Being fluent in Spanish, I dream of traveling to Latin America to conduct mental health outreach and education, bringing services to those who may otherwise never have the opportunity to
seek them.

Outside of my professional and academic settings, I really enjoy trying new things: foods, hobbies, etc. I love listening to and mixing music, and watching movies. I am also an extreme extrovert, so my favorite hobby is spending quality time with my loved ones.
