I graduated in August 2025 with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Bradley University. My passion for supporting children and adolescents grew from my earlier career as a teacher, where I saw firsthand the impact that emotional and mental well-being has on a young person’s ability to thrive. This experience continues to shape my work as a therapist, reinforcing my belief in the importance of inclusion, connection, trust, and individualized care.

As a child and adolescent therapist, I work from a strengths-based, client-centered approach that honors the unique needs, experiences, and voices of each individual I work with. I believe that every young person has inherent potential, and my role is to help uncover and nurture their strengths in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment.

I often incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques into my practice to support clients in building skills around emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These strategies can be particularly effective in helping young people navigate intense emotions and challenging life situations with greater confidence and self-awareness. Mindfulness is also a consistent thread throughout my work, offering clients practical tools to stay grounded, present, and connected to themselves. Whether through structured mindfulness exercises or simple, everyday practices, I aim to help young people develop a greater sense of calm, focus, and emotional balance.

In my free time, I enjoy camping, crafting, and playing the guitar. I also love hanging out with my cat, Rosie, who never misses a chance to cause a little ruckus and keep life interesting!
