I’m Dr. Mikiela Satisfield, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological assessment across the lifespan, with a therapeutic focus on children and adolescents. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed my internship at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital.

My clinical training has spanned diverse settings—including university clinics, pediatric developmental centers, therapeutic schools, and hospitals—offering me a rich foundation to understand complex developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns.

In therapy, I work with children to support emotional regulation, executive functioning, anxiety, and social connection. In testing, I offer collaborative, strengths-based assessments to clarify diagnoses and guide meaningful next steps for children, teens, and adults.

My approach is grounded in family systems theory and cognitive-behavioral principles, and I bring warmth, cultural attunement, and curiosity to every evaluation. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me building book lists, drinking tea, reading, or spending time with my family.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me curating children’s book lists, trying new teas, and spending time with my family.
